Product Overview

Power on the outside, touch on the inside

The MPP Hybrid Triple Core is a dual-density microcellular polypropylene build. High-density MPP forms the outer core layer, directly under the carbon face, giving the paddle a firm, reactive surface that returns energy quickly. Low-density MPP sits in the center, softening the impact feel and reducing the high-frequency vibration that travels to the hand.

The entire core is then wrapped in an EVA foam perimeter wall. The EVA edge stiffens the rim, enlarges the sweet spot, and absorbs off-center shock—so the paddle feels solid even when contact is not perfectly in the middle.

Face options include raw carbon T700 / 3K / 12K / 18K and ceramic-sand infused surfaces. The paddle is thermoformed as one piece, eliminating the separate edge-guard glue line found on cold-pressed paddles.

3-Layer Build

Inside the MPP Hybrid Triple Core

EVA perimeter + High-density MPP outer layer + Low-density MPP inner core

EVA Foam Perimeter Wall

Wraps the hitting area with a resilient foam frame. Adds edge stability, expands the sweet spot, absorbs vibration, and removes the visible glue line of older edge-guard designs.

High-Density MPP Outer Core

Sits directly under the carbon face. The higher density gives the paddle a firm, reactive surface and faster energy return on drives and volleys.

Low-Density MPP Inner Core

Forms the center layer. Softer and lighter, it damps vibration, softens the feel on off-center hits, and helps keep overall paddle weight near the 225 g target.

Key Benefits

Why brands choose the MPP Hybrid Triple Core

Crisp Power

High-density MPP under the face delivers a fast, predictable rebound for aggressive drives and counters.

🎯

Larger Sweet Spot

EVA perimeter wall stiffens the rim so off-center shots stay on target with less power loss.

Softened Touch

Low-density MPP center core absorbs shock and vibration, giving better feel on resets and dinks.

🌿

Recyclable Core

MPP is a closed-cell polypropylene foam that is 100% recyclable and resists permanent compression set.

⚖️

Balanced Weight

Dual-density construction lets us place stiffness where it matters and remove mass where it does not.

🔄

Spin-Friendly Face

Raw carbon or ceramic sand surface options hold texture longer for consistent topspin and slice.

How It Works

What dual-density MPP changes in play

High-density side = power zone

The outer MPP layer does not compress as much, so more energy goes back into the ball on hard swings.

Low-density center = comfort zone

The inner MPP layer compresses more, absorbing impact shock and giving a softer feel on blocks and resets.

EVA wall = stability zone

The foam edge stops the face from twisting on off-center hits and protects the rim from dings.

Tuned balance point

By adjusting MPP layer thicknesses, we can move the sweet spot and swing weight to match your target player.

Not a one-density core pretending to be advanced. The two MPP grades are physically distinct layers. If your brand wants a paddle that does not force players to choose between power and touch, this structure is a strong candidate.

FAQ

Common questions about the MPP Hybrid Triple Core paddle

What does MPP stand for?

MPP stands for microcellular polypropylene, a closed-cell foam with very small, uniform cells. It is lighter and more resilient than traditional expanded polypropylene, and it resists permanent compression set over time.

What is the benefit of a dual-density MPP core?

High-density MPP under the face gives a firm, powerful rebound. Low-density MPP in the center softens the feel and absorbs vibration. The combination lets a paddle deliver power on hard shots without feeling harsh on soft shots.

How is this different from a single-density PP or EPP core?

A single-density core must compromise between power and comfort. With the MPP Hybrid Triple Core, each layer is optimized for one job: the outer layer for response, the inner layer for damping, and the EVA wall for edge stability.

What does the EVA perimeter wall do?

The EVA foam edge replaces the separate edge guard found on older paddles. It stiffens the rim, enlarges the sweet spot, absorbs vibration on off-center hits, and removes the visible glue line.

Can I customize the MPP density or layer thickness?

Yes. We can adjust the density grades and layer thicknesses of both MPP layers to shift the paddle toward more power, more control, or a balanced all-court profile. MOQ starts at 200 pcs per design.

What face materials work with this core?

Raw carbon T700 is the most common. We also offer 3K, 12K, and 18K weaves, ceramic sand infused surfaces for extra spin durability, and painted/custom printed faces.

What is the MOQ and sample lead time?

MOQ is 200 pcs per design. Samples from an existing mold take 7–10 days. New mold development adds 5–7 days for MPP layer tooling and CNC programming.

Is this structure USAP-compliant?

We build to USAP dimensional, surface roughness, and material standards. USAP approval must be applied for by the brand under its own brand name; the factory cannot hold certification for a customer's product. We supply compliant samples and documentation to support your application.

Can you ship to Amazon FBA?

Yes. We can label cartons, apply FBA shipping marks, and deliver DDP to Amazon warehouses. Provide your FBA shipment plan and labeling requirements when you place the order.
